Dear Friends,
Many have lost their livelihoods and we all have family and friends that are struggling to survive in a difficult economy.
All too often we respond by stepping away from participation in the democratic process and not using our voices where it counts most — at the polls.
I decided to run for Lake County Clerk because just saying your vote counts is not enough. We need to actively reach out to all communities with non-partisan voter education to help reengage voters and rebuild faith in our democracy.
Nothing can truly change until we are all participating in the process.
Throughout the years, I have been actively involved in civic activities, from working with organizations that help ensure secure, accurate, and transparent elections throughout the country, to being a PTA mom.
I believe that now the time has come to offer my experience and dedication to the citizens of Lake County as your candidate for County Clerk.
As County Clerk, I pledge to continue to reach out to the people in Lake County and to help give them a voice to effect positive change. I believe in integrity, accountability, and that education is the strongest foundation on which to build safe, healthy and flourishing communities.
As an elected official, it would be my duty to make sure that your tax dollars are being used in the most efficient manner; waste is reduced; and that outreach and service to the community is greatly increased.
I look forward to bringing my experience and dedication to the communities of Lake County, but I will need your help. The election is only a few months away and there is much to do.
Your support will enable us to carry out a successful campaign for Lake County Clerk that will empower its supporters to work for durable improvements, a greater understanding of the election process and lasting reform. Together we can fight against the status quo. Together we can make a difference.
If every person that believes in the possibility of a brighter and more secure future, contributes what they can in the way of time and money, and encourages ten of their friends and colleagues to do the same, we can build a strong partnership of motivated individuals that will move mountains.
Please contribute as much as you can spare, but more than that, I ask you to please become involved, help set the vision, spread the word, and VOTE!
